Mother Nature threatened rain… over 3,000 shufflers said, “oh yeah, watch this!”

Despite the forecast, nothing can dampen the Shuffle Spirit and you all SHOWED UP! Bigtime! You showed up to shuffle, to volunteer, to sponsor, and to fundraise. You showed up to Show Love. And the families and children of Ronald McDonald House Maryland felt every footstep. And guess what, we hit our $500,000 goal! Just incredible.

There’s a lot of noise in the world right now, and a lot of it is hard to hear. And yet, on Sunday morning, in downtown Baltimore, all you heard was the sound of love. It was the best of all of us – being united in the things that matter most – showing love and compassion to a stranger, being part of a community that cares about those in need, raising each other up, celebrating the power of community and being grateful for all that we have. Shuffle Sunday is so much more than a 5k and so much bigger than all of us. I hope you take a minute to let it sink in and let yourself feel all of it.
